The local connection the great Western Front battle in July, 1916. Over the 19th to the 21st of July 1916 Australians fought their first battle on the Western Front at Fromelles. Over 1950 died, 250 were buried by the Germans in a mass grave that remained hidden for 90 years. This is the story of the finding of the mass grave of unidentified soldiers near Fromelles and the international project to identify them. Including the search for Sorrento's Albert Hibbert and William Brumby.
