Margo Neale
Emeritus Curatorial Fellow (NMA) Neale is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning art curator and author. Of Aboriginal and Irish descent, she is a member of the Gumbaynggirr and Wiradjuri nations with clan affiliations to others. She has authored, co-authored, edited and co-edited 21 books including the Oxford Companion to Aboriginal Art and Culture and most recently the on-going First Knowledges series with Thames and Hudson. Margo’s major exhibitions include the international touring Songlines (2017 on-going) and Emily Kame Kngwarreye (1998 and 2008).
