The Sorrento Writers Festival is back in 2026—and thanks to the incredible enthusiasm from our community, official volunteer registrations are now closed. 

We’ve been overwhelmed by the generous support and interest shown, and we’re thrilled to have filled all volunteer places for the 2026 Festival. The Sorrento Writers Festival simply wouldn’t happen without our dedicated volunteers, and we’re grateful to everyone—both familiar and new faces—who has put their hand up to be part of this year’s event. 

With over 150 volunteer roles filled for the lead-up to and during the Festival weekend (April 23–26, 2026), we’re excited to work with this year’s team to help create a vibrant, creative celebration of books, ideas, and storytelling. 

We hope you’ll stay connected with us and there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in future festivals.
