Niall Williams

Niall Williams was born in Dublin. He lives in County Clare with his wife, the writer and gardener Christine Breen. He has written three plays, ten novels, and with Christine has co-authored five books of non-fiction about their life in Clare, the latest In Kiltumper, a Year in an Irish Garden. Niall's novels have been nominated for numerous awards, including the Man Booker PrizeThe Irish Times Literature Prize, and The Dublin Impac Award. Most recently, Time of the Child was awarded the Kerry Group Novel of the Year. His novel, Four Letters of Love, was an international bestseller and was made into a major feature film, starring Pierce Brosnan and Helena Bonham Carter.
