Diana Thorp is a journalist and teacher whose writing career spans The Australian, its weekend magazine, and The Times in London. She has taught journalism at university and now teaches English and History at a girls’ school. Holding an arts degree majoring in Australian history and gender studies, her honours thesis explored lost memories of women in ancient Egyptian literature.
