Diana Thorpe

Diana Thorp is a journalist and teacher whose writing career spans The Australian, its weekend magazine, and The Times in London. She has taught journalism at university and now teaches English and History at a girls’ school. Holding an arts degree majoring in Australian history and gender studies, her honours thesis explored lost memories of women in ancient Egyptian literature. In writing Code of Silence, Diana drew on her journalist’s instinct for a compelling story and her passion for history’s hidden voices.
