Rachel Perkins

Rachel Perkins is a proud Arrente and Kalkadoon woman with German and Irish heritage, and one of Australia’s most significant storytellers. An award-winning writer, director and producer, her work includes First AustraliansThe Australian WarsTotal ControlRadianceBran Nue Dae and Redfern Now. Founder of Blackfella Films, Perkins has spent over 30 years leading truth-telling on screen and mentoring generations of First Nations creatives.
