Our evening begins with First Nations writer Thomas Mayo reciting the Uluru Statement From the Heart.

At 6.30pm Melbourne singer, musician, songwriter and producer Rebecca Barnard, accompanied by guitarist Peter Farnan, will perform the songs of Joni Mitchell.

At 8pm, after a brief interval, Monique diMattina and her musicians (a string quartet, a punk band, and singers Alma Zygier and Rebecca Barnard) will perform songs from Stella, Monique’s new musical based on the life of Australian literary lion and international feminist Miles Franklin.
